Gretchen's approach to therapy is a relational one. With creativity, warmth and patience, she helps clients navigate their questions and frustrations, knowing that the experience of feeling stuck is universal.  Gretchen is highly skilled in helping people explore healthy options for living and being in relationship with others, drawing on Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Existential and Art Therapies.  She finished her Masters of Arts in Counseling at Covenant Theological Seminary in May 2019.

Gretchen's personal journey has taken her from New Zealand to St. Louis, with stops all around the world, having grown up mostly in St. Louis with Kiwi parents and siblings.  She has trained and operated in several fields, with a background in investment banking, experience in hospitality work in England and New Zealand, and current coaching and mentoring of students in springboard diving.  Within these many different work contexts, cities, towns, and countries, Gretchen has walked alongside people of all different backgrounds and life stages. Her counseling areas of interest include anxiety, depression, grief, spirituality, emotional regulation, family relationships, trauma and abuse.
